Stanley and Marianne suggested a nice place for night stroll. It's Henderson Wave. We went there on 18th January 2009 after having ice-cream at B&J and parked our vehicle at Telok Blangah Hill.
The view is magnificent coz it's actually quite high from the road level, which is about 70 metres. Quite scary when you stand in the middle of the bridge and look downwards at the passing vehicles.
Gladys was enjoying herself running around and it seems that we're disturbing the quiet ambience as there are mostly dating couples there at night.
We had dinner at Labrador Seafood at Labrador Park on 08th February 2009. Even though the place is not crowded, we had to wait for more than 30 mins for our food to be served. The waitress claims that the kitchen is short handed.
At least the food is nice but the serving is too tiny, yet the bill is HUGE. It came out to almost $400 for normal zhi-cha dishes with 2 jugs of beer. But I would say, the feel is nice and the place breezy. So can enjoy a outdoor dinner with your loved ones.
Anyway, after dinner, Eric suggested going Henderson Wave again. This time with our folks and they really like the place.

CNY Party
Gladys' school had a pre-CNY party on 20.01.09 and all the kids are supposed to wear their traditional costumes and bring some snacks for pot-luck to school that day.
She had to wear a normal dress coz I didn't get her any traditional dress. I don't think I would ever let her wear that on a normal day so didn't wanna waste money on it. I would rather top up a little more to get a nice dress which she can get to wear often.
Ok, perhaps next year, I'll try to get her one.
Tell you, it was so difficult to get all the toddlers to stand together to take a nice shot. Some would be looking at other directions. Some cry for mummy. Some would be running away. No choice, kept snapping but yet, not even a nice shot of everyone.
Anyway, we brought kueh bangkit and wang-wang biscuits to school for the pot-luck party. The kueh bangkit was left untouched. All the kids were grabbing all the jelly candies, egg rolls, mashmellows and other sweet stuff. Gladys, as usual, was crazy about the wang-wang biscuits.
She was so bored of all the festive songs, she almost dozed off.
Later, she warmed up a bit and began dancing.

New Year's Day
We went to East Coast Park on New Year's Day. It was a nice and sunny day.
Finally, Gladys doesn't seem to mind stepping on sand anymore. But she was still not comfortable, she insisted Daddy holding her hand.
It was her first time sitting on a bicycle. We were so afraid she would be scared. The rental shop uncle was so nice, say we can give her a 'trial'. Daddy pillion her round the kiosk and she seems to be enjoying her ride. In fact, she was gleeing happily throughout the whole hour.
Then we had some ice cream and she wanted to 'eat it herself', as in her holding onto the ice cream. Luckily, not much of a mess.
Later in the night, we went off-road on the Land Rover to TM and had a mini BBQ session with some friends.
